Design Process
- Information Gathering
Our New Client Questionnaire is the first step in the design process. Designed specifically to clarify marketing goals and site specifications to reach them. This is where we define your business goals and dreams and plan how the web can be used to reach them.
- Planning
Using the info gathered in Step1. We develop a plan, a flowchart and a site map with your clients in mind. At this stage we also plan the technologies needed to create a great user experience.
- Design
At this point we create one or more prototype designs for your web site and or app. This is a graphic image representing the final design which we use to work with you until you are completely happy with the graphic layout of your site. When you are 100% satisfied, we ask that you sign off on the design aspect and then we move into development and implementation
- Development
During development we take the individual graphic elements from the prototype and create the actual, functional site. Our process is usually to first develop a home page, followed by a template for the interior pages, both of which contain the main navigational structure for your site. Content as well as other elements such as contact forms, flash animations or ecommerce shopping carts are implemented and made functional during this phase, as well. The site is available for your inspection during this period so you can specify any additional changes or corrections you would like to make.
- Testing and Delivery
Next we test things such as the functionality of forms or other scripts, as well as for compatibility issues between browsers. We also check to be sure all code is W3C valid.
- Maintenance
After delivery, we work with you to insure your site stays up to date. We offer affordable maintenance packages which include site back ups.
